Learning Psychology in Game Play

What do you do when your school decides to eliminate final exams and you (the teacher) are a gamer? Create a final project that requires students to play a game for the entire semester, of course. And when people question whether playing games is a good way to learn, use the final projects to demonstrate how students can connect psychological concepts and theories to game play. Therefore, the goal of the workshop is to demonstrate how games are used by Dianne Zielinski to reinforce concepts in class. Games will be played with the entire group and then in small groups to demonstrate how one teacher uses them. It is expected that participants will have familiarity with entire group games, but not necessary for small group ones.
