Dr Ian J Slater is a sessional instructor at York University in the Department of Natural Science and the Department of Science and Technology Studies in the Faculty of Science. His primary areas of research are the economics of science and technology, the history of technology and environmental history. He has been running Dungeons and Dragons games for 35 years, and is a professional Dungeon Master and owner of Black Dragon Games.
